चण्डीगढ़ : बैडमिंटन क्लब-23 द्वारा 34वां बैडमिंटन डबल्स टूर्नामेंट गवर्नमेंट सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल, सेक्टर 23 में आयोजित किया गया, जिसमें 50+ आयु वर्ग में सुनील बंसल और संजय ढींगरा की जोड़ी ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए फाइनल मुकाबले में जीएस सिद्धू और शरवन को 21–15, 18–21 और 21–15 के स्कोर से हराकर खिताब अपने नाम किया। वहीं 30–50 आयु वर्ग में गौरव सैनी और आशीष शर्मा ने प्रभावशाली खेल दिखाते हुए मुकेश और मोहित को 21–20 और 21–16 के स्कोर से पराजित कर विजय प्राप्त की। आयोजन समिति की ओर से नीरज सिंह ने सभी विजेताओं एवं प्रतिभागियों को उनकी उत्कृष्ट खेल भावना और टूर्नामेंट को भव्य सफलता दिलाने के लिए हार्दिक बधाई दी। साथ ही उन्होंने घोषणा की कि टूर्नामेंट का 35वां संस्करण 11 जुलाई 2026 (दूसरा शनिवार) को आयोजित किया जाएगा।

34th Badminton Doubles Tournament Held : Pairs of Sunil Bansal & Sanjay Dhingra and Gaurav Saini & Ashish Sharma Clinch Victory

Chandigarh: The 34th Badminton Doubles Tournament was organized by Badminton Club-23 at Government Senior Secondary School. In the 50+ age category, the duo of Sunil Bansal and Sanjay Dhingra delivered an impressive performance, defeating G.S. Sidhu and Sharwan in the final with scores of 21–15, 18–21, and 21–15 to clinch the title.

In the 30–50 age category, Gaurav Saini and Ashish Sharma showcased excellent gameplay and secured victory by defeating Mukesh and Mohit with scores of 21–20 and 21–16.
